Wayside Theatre Facts: A Newsletter

It is presumed that the newsletter, Wayside Theatre Facts, was begun shortly after Warner Crocker assumed the position of Artistic Director in the fall of 1999.  To date, eighteen issues of this document, published between March 1, 1999 and August 1, 2004, have been located. 

The format varies from a single bi-fold printing of four 8.5 x 11 sides to an issue consisting of eight pages.  Usually, the newsletter was folded to reveal a blank section that was suitable for placing a mailing address.  The publication schedule is not clear as to whether it appeared monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly. 

The information in the available issues varies in content.  Usually, there is an overview of events taking place during the season, along with an interview with a member of the acting company, the season’s production schedule, fund-raising events, and an update on the main-stage performance schedule. 

It seems that the publication of Wayside Theatre Facts did not continue past 2004, the date of the last issue that is on file.
